This week we were conducting a tour with clients from Wisconsin USA, and part of the trip was tracing family history. We did some prior research and were amazed to find that our guide Mark Thomas was actually distantly related to them! They shared a 6 x great Grandfather . Mark didn’t say anything until they got to St Senaras church in Zennor in the far west of Cornwall. Here we revealed the family tree showing the Barganwath Family connection and the later generations Hosking. The whole group were rather flabbergasted to say the least! We try and create memories that will last a lifetime on every tour..we certainly pulled it off today!
