Genealogy Tours in South West England
James is pleased to offer you the chance to delve into your family history. We undertake many tours for people from all over the world who are tracing their ancestors back to the South West. Very often these will be descendants of Cornish Miners or Devon agricultural workers who left during the 1800’s.
We have a brilliant relationship with the Cornwall Family History society, and with a specialist Genealogist in Devon. They can build one any research you may have done, and for a small charge , produce a pretty detailed report on the best places to visit, relevant to your family history. Our researchers have also been able to correct some peoples own research which may have gone a little awry!

Preserving our landscape
As part of our commitment to becoming more sustainable and preserving the beautiful landscape of Cornwall, we are delighted to have partnered with Plant 1 Cornwall again for 2025 . This Community interest company plants and manages sustainable woodland across Cornwall, and we will be planting at least one tree for every tour booked in 2025 , and more for multiple day tours.
In 2024 we planted 950 M2 (over 10000 sq ft ) of new woodland including 120 new trees and their ongoing maintenance for the next 5 – 7 years.https://plantonecornwall.com
