Dartmoor Hiking Experience
The best way to experience Dartmoor’s unique landscape and history is to get right to the heart of it and explore it on foot. Bill Martin has been walking the moor for more than 30 years, and is still discovering parts of this extraordinary 368 square-mile wilderness.
The moor’s tors, vast moorland plains and deep river valleys have been shaped by thousands of years of powerful geological forces, relentless weather, and human industry and activity.
We have a series of half day guided walking tours available that will let you see the real beauty of Dartmoor up close.
Walks start at Princetown, Postbridge, Okehampton and Belstone, and can be tailored specifically to you depending on what you want to see, the weather, and your fitness!
