Tour Itinerary

Day 1

09.00: North Cornwall Coastline
We’ll collect you directly from your hotel and head for the dramatic coastline of North Cornwall with its rugged cliffs and turquoise waters. We follow the winding lanes which embrace the coastline and take in the amazing sea views as we pass through the scenic towns and villages.

09.45: Bocastle
We’ll arrive at Boscastle, a village steeped in history and associated with authors and artists who have been inspired by its remoteness and its rugged beauty, which has surprising dark secret waiting for you…

10.45: Tintagel
After we have explored Boscastle we’ll depart for Tintagel, a town shrouded in myths and legends and famed for its Arthurian connections. We’ll journey back in time and explore the remains of the 13th-century castle of Tintagel. It is a place to suspend belief and let your imagination run wild with tales of King Arthur and his connection to the castle. Stunningly positioned on the dramatic cliff-tops, Tintagel Castle is also an amazing vantage point for capturing the breathtaking coastal views.

Please note that the walk up to the castle can be a strenuous climb up steep uneven steps so we can always admire the view from the ground. We can visit an alternative location with breathtaking views of the castle, but a lot less strenuous!

12.30: Port Isaac
Next up we’ll depart for the short trip to Port Isaac, a charming fishing port. It is home to the famous shanty singers, The Fisherman’s Friends and also provides the location for the much-loved TV series, Doc Martin. Here we’ll stop for a spot of lunch (not included) and for a wander around the village.

14.15: Padstow
After lunch, we can depart for Padstow to explore the knot of small streets surrounding the harbour and delve into the warren of shops selling an abundance of Cornish produce. Alternatively, we could head to Bedruthan Steps for some spectacular coastal views.

16.15:
We’ll set off and journey back to your hotel.
